This picture was shot at City Hall in Philadelphia, PA
The bride and groom-to-be, Samentha and Joel, wanted to have their engagement session in the city. Samentha told me how much she loved environmental portraits. This means portraits of a couple that also shows off the surrounding areas as well.
Samantha also mentioned how she loved the "moody" look that my engagement photography and wedding photography has. This is done by purposely underexposing the ambient light with my camera and then using flash to put more light on my subject. It helps to highlight the couple as well.
I choose to go with a black and white edit for this photograph because it has a historic background.
