This picture was taken in my midtown NYC studio.
This is Bill. Bill is an artist, creative director, author, and all around fun guy to spend time with. I wanted to capture that through this particular photograph. I had him sit on the chair backwards for more of a casual look. I also wanted to frame the great color and pattern in the upper part of his shirt with the edge of the chair. His style is part of his personality.
I just talked with him and we had some back and forth banter. When I got him laughing at one of my bad jokes, I took this photo.
