This portrait was created at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia PA.
Sarah and Josh put a lot of time into their wedding design with their planner, Marc Uravic. Sarah absolutely loves the color red and also really liked these steps in the venue. I wanted to incorporate all of those elements and also add some energy to the portrait to go along with the energy of their design. I had Sarah and Josh run up the steps on the way to their cocktail hour and it created a really beautiful image for them.
I lit the two of them with a very narrow beam of light just to pop their expressions a little more without intruding on the overall ambience of the environment.
