This picture was taken at the Westin in Philadelphia, PA.
Most of the wedding day is the photojournalism or candid photography but I also make a point of taking portraits throughout the day. These include portraits of the couple, portraits of the family, and portraits of the wedding party.
In this picture the groom and groom, Marc and Kai, had just helped each other into their suits. They both looked great, we had beautiful light, and it was a nice environment. It only made sense that I would take some classic portraits of the two of them. While most of the wedding photography on the day of does not involve people smiling at the camera, some of the portraits do. I feel like these are timeless portraits and should be taken at every wedding.
