This moment was captured at Vault 634 in Allentown, PA.
One of the traditions during the wedding reception is the mother-son dance. That and the father-daughter dance are some of the most beautiful moments throughout the day.
In this image, Will was dancing with his mother. I don't know what they were talking about but it must have been really funny. By the end of their dance together, they were cracking up! This was one of those moments.
While these dances are common and I called them traditional, that does not mean they have to happen or that they can't be adjusted for you. For example, I have certainly photographed mothers dancing with their daughters as well as multiple parents taking turns dancing with their son or daughter. It's your wedding and you can do whatever you want. It's my job to tell your story.
