Studio Adwin

Studio Adwin is a luxury on-site portrait studio experience at weddings and special events. Guests receive a printed, matted, and framed 8x10 photograph to take home with them same-day. A believe in the power of print and I want a memory to adorn your walls to look back on.

Why? At most events guests might have a very quick snap shot of themselves or with their partner. These pictures are often taken right where the subject is without too much involved from a photography standpoint. This is circumstantial and no fault of the event photographer. There simply isn't time for a more involved portrait of a lot of the guests.

I wanted to change this. Guests are dressed in their best and feeling great. I wanted to invest an appropriate amount of time in capturing the character and personality of guests and/or couples at a special event.

How? I bring the studio on site with professional lighting and a beautiful environment for my subjects to be photographed in. The important questions are asked to the guests to understand the best portrait for them. This is not a one size fits all approach and every portrait is bespoke. I give my subject direction with how they are standing and/or seated to flatter them and tell a story.

Where? A designated location will be the site of the portrait studio experience at the event venue. This can be designed in conjunction with the planner or an existing space showing off the architectural character of a venue.

When? A decided upon time when guests are socializing often during a cocktail hour and/or reception. The earlier the better to allow me and my time to print and frame your photographs. The duration of the portrait experience varies depending on the number of guests being photographed.
